1. Why does Gatsby stop having parties? Gatsby stops having parties because he thinks daisy doesn’t like them and he stopped likeing her 
2. Why does Gatsby fire his staff, and who replaces them?  How are these people different, and how do their personalities reflect what we know about Wolfsheim? Gatsby fires his staff because he was afraid that his staff would spread rumors. 
3. Describe the difference in Daisy's and Gatsby's reactions to Daisy's daughter. Gatsby couldn’t believe it and daisy was unsure. 
4. Describe the "outing" to New York and the confrontation between Tom and Gatsby.  Who wins?gatsby wins because he accepted that he was having the affair and he lets gatsby drive daisy home. 
5. BAM! What happens on the way back to Long Island?  (You have to get this-- it's THE event of the book.) on the way back daisy was driving and daisy ran over maralene to get back at Tom.

GATSBY CHAPTER 8 NOTES AND THOUGHTS

1 Taxi came to take Gatsby but Gatsby didn’t want to leave daisy he wanted to talk about daisy about how she was the first nicest person he knew gatsby waited for 6 hours.
2 nick tells gatsby to go to Atlantic City but gatsby denied because he was waiting for daisy.
3 after gatsby and daisy did you know what, they fell in love.
4 Gatsby wanted to swim in his own pool before everything dies.
5 Gatsby was in the pool and Wilson is the husband of the woman who got ran over.

Many men had already loved daisy and that made daisy more valuable in Gatsby’s eyes.

HAVE TO VERSUS WANT TO VERSUS GET TO

 the difference between agreeing to complete work for each other, being told what to do for homework, and exploring what you want to in your own way. The agreeing to complete work for each other is an understanding that maybe he or she has a lot of things going on or something bad happened and they can’t finish the work.  Being told what to do is more boring because you don’t have a choice you have to do it or else it hurts your grade. Exploring what I want in my own way is way better because I can choose what I really want and nowadays that’s hard to do because we tend to be like other people. 

GATSBY NOTES AND THOUGHTS: CHAPTER 6

Chapter 6 is mainly about his past life , like his past name James gatz and now it’s Gatsby. Gatsby was closer to daisy back then because they were dancing and were talking a lot more than now.
Their are many factors that get in the way of daisy and Gatsby to have a comfortable perfect relationship.

NOTES AND THOUGHTS ON GATSBY CHAPTER 5

Gatsby was nervous to see daisy the weather was changing because of the mood of the people .
Surfs were the working people. It stopped raining because Gatsby has in a good mood and daisy turned from grieving to an unexpected joy. The green light was infact Daisy’s House.
